About Patricia Guidi
Patricia Guidi has dual citizenship in Brazil and the United States, having studied and graduated as an American Attorney, with vast experience in legal consultancy especially to Brazilian clients engaging in commercial relations with foreign countries, especially the United States or that intend to expand their businesses abroad. Patricia is licensed as an Attorney by the New York and Florida Bars, as well as the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) as an American Law Consultant.
Born and raised in Brazil, she lived in the United States for nearly 15 years before returning to her home country to take on the role of the Director responsible for the American Law Department of a renowned Brazilian Law Firm with global presence. In this position, she handled the preparation of contracts, documents and reports in the corporate, transactional and litigation spheres, as well as immigration matters before American authorities.
For a span of 10 years, she provided services to the largest sunglass distributing company in Latin America, where she was accountable for implementing the operation in the United States and offered legal support in formatting its franchise model to establish the company’s international operations throughout the world. While there, Patricia further negotiated and drafted a variety of agreements based on international law, including co-branding, the engagement of foreign artists and celebrities, and the sponsorship of events abroad connected to marketing campaigns.
As an independent consultant, she works in partnership with Law Firms in specific projects as well as directly assisting companies in the venture of expanding their businesses to the United States and other countries, including establishing franchise operations, preparing corporate agreements, providing legal support and conducting negotiations.
